We’re halfway through 2024, and gamers have all the reasons to be excited. Because these last few months are going to be heavenly for them. They may have seen the likes of Tekken 8 or Mario vs Donkey Kong in the first few months, but the list is not over yet.
Some games, that are absolutely cream of the crop, are going to be released this year. And tell you what, you’re going to find more about them here. So, we’ll stop beating around the bush and get started:

The “Great Storm” has passed. It’s been 30 years but its memories still creep through people’s minds.
If you haven’t played the first part, don’t think of it like any other survival game. In the game, the players take on the role of a leader. It becomes their duty to keep people under control. Hunger, crime, infrastructure, or one wrong move can upset people. And when that happens, players should not expect a second chance because the Frostpunk series isn’t known for it.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl:
Release Date: September 5, 2024
Released On: PC, Xbox Series X/S
Genre: First-Person Shooter
Developers: GSC Game World
Finally, the game that was supposed to launch in 2012 is coming out in just a few months. GSC Game World has surely taken its time with this one.
Chornobyl is in ruins after the reactor incident back in the mid-80s. Since then, all there’s left of it is a vast exclusion zone and millions of myths. It’s an open-world game, so if you’re willing to dive deep to find out what lies in that no-go area, this is your chance.
Plus, don’t be surprised if you find some plagued mutants. Because it’s their territory, and you’re the one intruding on it. Also, surviving the extremely radiated environment wouldn’t be a walk in the park. So, better be prepared because time is running out.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6:
Release Date: October 25, 2024
Released On: PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5
Genre: First-Person Shooter
Developers: Treyarch and Raven Software
It’s been less than a year since Modern Warfare 3 made its way to our consoles. Still, it feels like a long time. That said, COD fans have to wait for just a few months, as Black Ops 6, with unreal graphics and maybe an untold story is coming out.
Besides the story mode, we can’t wait to see the multiplayer mode. Speculations are, that it’s going to be more improved in terms of gameplay and maps. Plus, don’t pawn off zombies yet because, in this edition, you’re going to deal with some ravaged zombies.
Planning to team up with your friends in multiplayer mode? Then, don’t forget to iron out your internet connection first. If you’ve played multiplayer on Modern Warfare 3, then you know how difficult it is to assist, let alone take down the enemy.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater:
Release Date: 2024(Tentative)
Released On: PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5
Genre: Action-Adventure
Developers: Konami Computer Entertainment Japan
The fact is that remakes often disappoint. But we can’t wait to get our hands on this remake that was originally released in 2004.
The goal is to infiltrate the enemy’s location without giving out yours. Making your way through the enemy’s hideout won’t be easy this time, as thousands of traps will be waiting for you. This time, you’ll be assisted with a lot of close combat weapons like melee and firearms.
One more thing, you’d want to avoid traps at all costs in this game. Because even a minor cut or bruise your character gets won’t disappear throughout the game. So, unless you’re not planning to wear those bruises and cuts as a medal of honor, make sure to be as stealthy as possible.Indiana Jones and the Great Circle:
Release Date: 2024
Released On: PC, Xbox Series X/S,
Genre: Action-Adventure
Developers: MachineGames
The narrative of this game is taken from the events between Indiana Jones’ movies; Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
Indiana Jones is on a hunt to spoil the domination plans of an exclusive group.
More or less, this game has an open world with historical locations like Rome, Shanghai, Thailand, Egypt, and The Himalayas. Plus, the game lets you control how you want to complete missions. For example, you can confront an enemy directly or it’s your choice to overpower them stealthily. Also, Indiana’s signature whip isn’t just a weapon in this game. It can be used to pass obstacles or to solve optional puzzles in the game as well.
The Wait is Almost Over!
Looking ahead, gamers have a jam-packed calendar as there are a lot of new and iconic games that are set to make a comeback. Also, be sure to get them as soon as possible because more games are on the horizon, which we’ll cover in another article. Till then, tell us which games you’re eagerly waiting for.
